Carter Manufacturing
Company, Inc. began in 1965 on a part time basis
distributing to the agricultural research industry
harvesting and planting equipment manufactured solely by
Charles F. Carter. Based upon Charles work experience in
the research field and use of this type of equipment
initiated the full time production in the mid 1970's. In
the late 1990's the purchase of an electronics company
allows Carter to produce not only the moisture-weight
bucket system but also the electronics to operate and
collect data from the harvested crop
Carter installs hydrostatic drives on a variety of
machines including plot combine. Components may be
purchased separately for customer installation.
